  • Do you work with other specialists? Can you handle x-rays, MRIs, and CAT scans?
    Dr. Burns works closely with many other specialists, such as primary care physicians, orthopedists and orthopedic surgeons, neurologists and neurosurgeons, and radiologists.     Dr. Burns uses a variety of techniques depending on the patient and the condition. The most common techniques include the following: Diversified, manual manipulation (a traditional chiropractic adjustment) Flexion-distraction (a specialized "low-force" technique to treat disc herniations, scoliosis, patients with osteoporosis, and many other conditions) Non-force mobilization and stretching techniques Rehabilitative stretching and strengthening programs and adjunctive physiotherapy modalities, such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, traction, ice, and heat.Back to top
